Created in glass by René Lalique in 1927, the Oran is now-re-released in crystal. Art Nouveau continues to inspire the floral pattern of its decor, in which dahlias are a key feature, their opulence enhanced by the éclat of satin-finished and polished crystal.

The dahlia is native to Mexico and North Africa and is a symbol of faithful love and gratitude. Dubbed "Oran" in homage to the Algerian seaport town, the vase is also known as "La Radieuse".
